Delayed or conditional account blocking

A social media feature that allows users to schedule an account block to take effect at a future time (e.g., tomorrow), rather than immediately. This enables the user to continue viewing and engaging with an ongoing conversation or interaction while having the block activate later, without the appearance of having withdrawn from the interaction.

I wish there was a feature "block this account, but only tomorrow". So that you can prevent future pointless interaction, but still get to follow how the current pointless interaction proceeds without giving the impression of being the one chickening out;)

CLASSIFIER RATIONALE

This is a genuine expression of unmet demand for a conditional blocking feature. The author wants a tool that delays account blocking, allowing them to observe an ongoing interaction without appearing to disengage. While somewhat niche and tinged with social strategy, it describes a real product capability that doesn't exist and would have users.
