Linux is funny in that with stuff like CachyOS and advances in Proton it's objectively just as plug and play as Windows is but if you need to replace a professional workflow with Linux alternatives you are at the mercy of people who seem to design UIs specifically to enrage people.

my photography workflow being built around adobe lightroom makes switching to linux entirely essentially impossible for me, there is no good alternative and i WISH there was so badly because i want to be free of windows!
