View hidden or muted replies

When replies are hidden due to account or word mutes, the platform indicates a reply exists but doesn't allow viewing it. Users want an option to view these hidden replies despite the muting rules being in place.

IN REPLY TO

These mystery replies are really weird. If you mute an account or a word, it tells you that. But to be told there's a reply but there's nothing there? Odd.

I really don't like it. I wish there was an option to view whatever they are.

CLASSIFIER RATIONALE

The parent post describes a genuine platform UX gap: when replies are hidden (due to muting), users see a notification that a reply exists but cannot view it. The reply signals agreement and desire for a feature to view hidden replies despite muting rules. This is a coherent product feature request—a tool/option to view muted/hidden content.
